Enchanting Brand Manikins Outside Tea Shops in India

Brand manikins are not a new concept.
The MacDonald clown in a yellow jacket with red hair is popularly seen sitting outside their outlets.

In India, especially in cities like Kolhapur and Pune, manikins are found outside tea shops.

1. RaoJi Chaha, Kolhapur, India

This tea stall caught our attention because of the brand manikin installed outside the shop. This is a farmer with a red turban and yellow shirt complete with a white dhoti.

The manikin is wearing the famous Kolhapuri chappals footwear.
We had their best tea which had a very satisfying taste and aroma.

2. Hotel Sai Darbar, Kolhapur, India

This place is famous for the brand manikin installed outside on the street attracting and inviting people inside the hotel.

The figure is comical with big round eyes and short in stature.
In one hand it is holding a cup of tea and a tea kettle in the other hand.

We had tea and snacks at this good place.

3. New Kolhapuri Amrut Tulya Chaha, Kolhapur, India

This new Kolhapuri Amrut Tulya is right on the way to Pune from Kolhapur just before the highway, hence the right time and place to have tea before embarking on a challenging drive on the highway.

The brand manikin caught our attention and I stopped by immediately.
The manikin is a healthy middle-aged person in a white kurta and white dhoti with a red jacket and red turban all of which look attractive.

We had tea at this place which was awesome.

4. Yewale Amrut Tulya, Baner, Pune, India

This is a superb place for having tea on Baner Road and probably the best Amrut Tulya in Pune.
I regularly have the cardamom-flavored tea here and find it heavenly tasty.

They also serve Jaggery Tea meaning Gulacha Chaha.

The Tea Wala manikin outside the shop is a special attraction.

They also have brass teapots hanging inside.
There is a token system, and they accept online payment with QR code scanning, besides also accepting cash.

Accessibility is limited at this place.

5. Today, 28-April-2024 I was in Nashik and found a new Tea Shop manikin, near the Central Bus Stand.
@Raj_Tayade has the credit to spot it while we were walking on the sidewalk footpath.

The uniqueness of this manikin is that it is not selling tea, but tea bags, so it is holding a tea bag in its hand.

@Tushar_Suradkar

Es ist ein schöner Beitrag, der mich mit den Darstellungen der Markenpuppen zum Lächeln gebracht hat.

Alle Links funktionieren gut nur der 1. nicht.

Thank You for the compliment and the feedback @Annaelisa

I checked the link, and it opened correctly.

Though, I agree it may not open perfectly on a mobile device.

I tested it only on a desktop computer.

Sorry about that 😊

It's great such adds catch your attention. Thank you  @Tushar_Suradkar ji for sharing your experience. As our friend @Annaelisa observed, I too noticed the link of 1. RaoJi Chaha, Kolhapur, India is not working. Other links are working perfect.

Thank you for the appreciation dear @PrasadVR

and for confirming that the link does not work 👍

Also @Annaelisa

Can you please check the extra link in the main post?

I have added one for mobile users.

Does that work?

@Tushar_Suradkar

Re: Enchanting Brand Manikins Outside Tea Shops in India

Thank you, @Rohan10

I am delighted to know that these brand manikins are in Mumbai also.

Now I have more reasons to travel to Mumbai.

These objects come under the category of Storefront photos where we can also upload them to Google Maps.

The risk and disadvantage that one can face is the AI will think of them as people and can downgrade or even hide our reviews.

I am currently facing this issue where the first link to Google Maps is not working.

Can you please check these:
