Located in the heart of Kundara,the main deity in the temple is Vana Durga.

The Upa Devatas worshipped are Ganapathy and Yakshi.

Annual festival in the temple is held from Medam 1 to Medam 10 and is known as Pathamudayam Mahotsavam.

The temple is administered by Elanjivel family trust
