The number of privately run bakeries that are enthusiastic about research and delicious is increasing. Meanwhile, the old-fashioned bakery is also doing its best. There is bread that you will definitely see at that bakery.

This shop introduces chocolate cornet and curry bread.
Chocolate cornet, Peanut cornet
Bread that resembles this snail has been around for decades. Chocolate is a cream that is a mixture of cocoa powder, flour, and sugar. And the peanut cornet cream here contains chopped peanuts, so it has a nice texture.
For chocolate cornet, the side where the cream is put in is called the "head", and the one with a sharp swirl is called the "buttock". Depending on each person, there are two groups, one that eats from the head and the other that eats from the buttocks. I'm a head-eating sect.
Curry bread

Curry bread refers to curry made with less water, wrapped in dough and fried.Usually the rugby ball has a flattened shape. However, brownie curry bread looks different from other shops. It is about 15 cm in diameter and has diced bread around it. With this block of bread crumbs, it is very voluminous. The curry contains minced meat and potatoes. And the curry bread here is not spicy.

@Izumi I like curry bread mostly, it looks so unusual. We haven't such here. But what is interesting, I would never call it a bread. I would call it a cake. And cornets I would call a bun. Is simple bread without fillings used in Japan?
Really the most interesting in Connect is the possibility to see the variety of the world and the views of people from distant countries at the same objects!

@Izumi I am drooling already over the bread. Please can you send me some.😂
What a powerful write up. I have missed reading amazing posts on connect lately.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful post with us here on connect.
What kind of flour is the bread made from?
Do you have specially made bread fro different ages of your population?
Best regards. 🙂

I'm glad you like curry bread.😃
And it's very interesting to call the cornet a cake. Even in Japan, bread with cream or sugar is called "kashi_pan" sweet bread.
Of course, there are also simple breads in Japan without stuffing. There are various types depending on the store, such as baguettes, campagnes, and breads with bran. Unique to Japan include bread with brown rice and bread with wormwood.
I agree with your impressions of Connect!🤝
