Hi @Venkatadilip,

Thanks for your question about accomodation in the Maldives.

Basically most of the Maldives islands are tourist resorts and there are different types of accomodations to choose on each island like a house on the beach, water villa or a bungalow. It depends also if you decide to travel with an agency or book your accomodation directly with the resort.

I booked via an agency a bungalow on Bandos island like this one below, but the price for it included also the breakfast and dinner in the Gallery restaurant.I went in the Maldives in August which is the low season and the prices were lower. For more informaiton about the accomodation, check out the website of the Maldivian resort you’re going to choose.

The accommodation in the water villas costs more as they are luxirious, but I haven’t asked for the exact price. You can see an example of a water villa on Bandos island.

Hi @SilvyC ,

Thanks for your comment!

I’m really happy to see you also enjoy diving! For me the underwater experience was something new and I really liked it. I wanted to show you more photos from my trip to Maldives and I hope they will inspire you for your next diving or snorkelling adventure :slightly_smiling_face:

Good morning @KatyaL

I’m glad you liked what I added. This summer I did free diving on the Black Sea and I was looking for snail shells and shells but by mistake I reached blue jellyfish, two days I felt burns and itching on my shoulder and arm.

Thank you very much and have a good day

Hi @To_paul ,

Thanks so much for the cool photos of snail shells from Black Sea! I think you have a great collection now :slightly_smiling_face: Speaking about the jelly fishes, I wanted to show you one of my photos on the bay of Burgas last year. Usually when swimming I’m trying to avoid them as the itchy feeling after that is not pleasant at all.

Hi @SP31,

In addition to what we discussed earlier about the sharks in the Maldives, here are some photos I found today to show that they are not that big and they are actually quite friendly:?

Sure @KatyaL Rafting is the most popular adventure in Nepal and the best time for rafting in Nepal is usually September to early December and March to June. Trishuli and Bhotekoshi are popular locations for rafting. So, if someone comes to Nepal during September- Early December and March-June then I suggest they to do rafting.

Sure … reading you and seeing your photos, I feel in Maldives directly!

Thanks for that @KatyaL

For travel, that’s all I like best! Although my studies, it’s a little complicated! The challenge, I always start and I like, try new activities … that’s why we travel no? lol hahaha

This is me in Uvira territory in the DRC. More specifically, I am in Lake Tanganyika and I try to fish small fish with a small cane on which is attached a small yarn, made by children who live near Lake Tanganyika.

Naturally I love nature, the sea, the sun … And that’s why, whenever I travel it’s what attracts me the most! And if I can recommend a beach that I liked, it BORA BORA Beach in Burundi. This is the last palge I visited a few months ago

I do not like swimming, besides I do not know how to swim … but I like to play in the water like a duck???

Hey… Katya, is not this beach beautiful???

And finally, last month, I was in GOMA, a beautiful city of our country, it is called the Tourist City of the DRC. And what impressed me in this city was the trying this:

This is locally called “CHUKUDU” I do not know what it means or if it even has a meaning, but behind this creation, there is a long history of the city of Goma. there is even a roundabout with this name, To see here
It is gear used to transport the packages, the goods … it’s like a bike but made of wood. It is found everywhere in this city. and so, I was trying to roll it … it was too fun

(I thanks so much my dear freinds @Gloire_Congo for that’s pic)

Ohhh @KatyaL, I can not say everything here, otherwise it will become another Post.
So, always follow me on my Profile, I will soon post on my last trip!

Thanks again for everything!

Y-Nick

True @KatyaL, I refer to summer as our holiday time between work, school and all the daily stuff. Unfortunately for families in Italy we have one long holiday of 3 months aprox in summer, no autumn or spring weeks as many other countries. And Maldives is missing on my travelling map but it is on my bucket list, so your posts are really inspiring.

I’ve experienced local Island hopping, was some time ago in Thailand, I love explore local culture expressions. And something similar to dolphin cruise but it was catching for whales in the Australian sea.

I like walking on ancient walls here in Lucca, it is a long path with trees and places to seat and it is so peaceful. Here a picture just made yesterday evening.

Hi @SayeedP ,

Thanks so much for your kind words! This is great that you find my post and photos from the Maldives interesting! Actually, I’m not a professional photographer, but I’m really trying my best :slightly_smiling_face: During my trip I took more than 3000 photos and here I shared only the ones that really represent the reality and the activities on the islands. I can say this is my favorite destination so far and whenever I have a chance, I’ll go back there.
