Whenever i get free time i used to go to our village side river. Which is known by Gorai river. River helps to keep our mind fresh. It teaches us to be like river. As we know it never stops going. There is a old & meaningful saying “Time & Tide wait for none”.
Turag is a big river inside of Dhaka. You Can go easy way from Mirpur 1. The place is enjoyable for all ages.The area contains a lake in the middle of the picnic spot with water boat paddling. You & your dear ones to enjoy the natural beauty of nature & relax in by breathing the fresh air of Turag River. The water in river Turag glistens under the evening sun.
With the river in full flow during the monsoon, there is less odour in the surrounding air.
