MY NAME: JAGATHJIVANRAM.
My short name is JAGAT. You can call me as Jagat
LOCATION: I am from Chennai. It is in the state of Tamilnadu, Southern part of India.
What I love: Basically I enjoy travelling a lot and visiting new places and meeting 1new people. Whenever I visit a new place I will be interested in finding what is unique and interesting in that place like their culture and tradition and their special food,their attire and especially their traditional caps. I take lot of photos and add them to Google maps. I am very much interested in adding new places to Google maps and help people search new places in the map. So far I have added around 850 new places and hope to reach thousand soon.
My favourite thing to explore: India is very rich in its culture and tradition and wide diversity of people. I would like to visit various states in India and explore their diverse culture. I am very much interested in visiting historical places, forts, temples, palaces and observe their architectures, sculptures and the style in those kings lived and their style of ruling their kingdom and how they protected their citizens.
Fun facts about me: Whenever I visit a new place I readily mingle with local people. Wherever possible I would also try out their traditional dresses though not fully atleast a part of it. I am fascinated by various styles of caps what people in various regions wear according to their tradition. Like that recently I went to Nepal and I developed special liking fair their traditional cap. They call it Dhaka topi. I bought one and wore it and travelled around Nepal. The local Nepali people liked me wearing it and at many places I visited I was treated with lot of love and respect.
My contribution to Google Maps: I am in level 9 now with around 85000 points. Sometimes I get very busy in professional assignments I may not be able to contribute much to Google maps. So I was with around 11000 contributions and 65000 points in the month of May 2024. I was not contributing anything. Then one fine morning I got a motivating message from my guide and mentor @TravellerG. That pushed me up and now within six months I contributed around 17000 contributions and reached around 85000 points. With this kind of motivation I am confident I would soon reach level 10.
Thank you all my Dear LGs from various parts of the world. Let us all unite together ,share our experiences and contribute more to Google Maps and be of help to the society.

Why I so much love about being a Local Guide is:
- I get a chance to play a foundational role in my Republic as a guide. This is a rare privilege to be amongst those standing out for infrastructural development and helping others discover the benefits of Google maps, systems and products.
- My legacy can be remembered even when am no more. Choosing to become a local guide is a service we offer for the sake of evolution
transformation and revolution. Indiscriminately giving others services to grow their businesses, discover or influence indirectly the turn out of several navigational trajectory. Etc!
My favorite thing to explore on the map is, when I feel the need for some fresh air, l use Google maps 
to visit new places and I leave a rating.
Very few fun fact about me is that I love critical challenges and pools.
