Well, technically I DID visit Jaipur too. But I don’t call it a visit really. I was there for just one day and the whole day I was in the hotel because my husband was not well. It was way before I visited the other cities of Rajasthan. Your post inspired me to write about my visit to Jaisalmer and Udaipur. May be I will write something soon. Thank you @Ddimitra once again, for the inspiration.
Sadly, you cannot really determine the number of days to stay in these cities in advance, if you truly want to see the heritage and culture. Sometimes, even a month is not enough to visit Rajasthan. I was there for about 10 days, yet I couldn’t cover most of Jaisalmer. I so wished I could stay a night in those sand dunes! So, now I tell myself, I need an excuse to go back to the places I love. This is probably my reason to go back to Rajasthan again.
