@TraciC @YanniY @JessicaS_1 Ten photography students with their instructors participated in this Kandy Photo Walk and most of them were not Local Guides. We explain them about Local Guides programme and most of them joined the Local Guides program. We will be able to see good quality photos of Kandy on Google Maps in near future. Thanks again Dinesh.

@TraciC @YanniY @JessicaS Yesterday we had a great meet-up, Kandy Photo Walk March 2017. Including over 22 participants from Colombo, Batticaloa, Dambulla and Kandy participated in this meet-up. I think this was the most highly participated Local Guides meet up yet in Sri Lanka. Around 10 participants where from ImageArt Academy , friends of @AnuradhaP . We were able to meet with other Local Guides unknown to us previously, and @IlankovanT @AnuradhaP shared their experiences and knowledge with all of us. We were able to encourage newly participated students to become local guides and they seemed enthusiastic in becoming active local guides. We walked around the Kandy Lake Round and reached Arthur’s Seat Kandy View Point and captured beautiful surroundings, added many missing places, photos, edited accurate details, added reviews and ratings and many more to wrap up a very successful meet-up.
@IlankovanT @AnuradhaP @AsankaJayasuriya and everyone, Thank you for your support and participation! and looking forward to future meet-ups and doing many great things together!

@TraciC @YanniY @JessicaS_1 We had a great Photo Walk yesterday. Over 22 participants from Kandy, Colombo, Batticaloa, etc participated. I think this has to be the most highly participated meet-up yet in Sri Lanka. We met 10 participants from from a Photography academy at kandy they were enthusiastic of becoming active local guides. We were also lucky to meet few Local Guides who were unknown to us previously. @IlankovanT @AnuradhaP shared their knowledge and experience with all of us to improve contributions. We Walked around the Kandy Lake round and also reached Arthur’s View point where we can see a whole view of the city and while on the walk we captured many beautiful photos,added many missing places, edited so to include accurate information, added the photos, made reviews
@IlankovanT @AnuradhaP and everyone thanks a lot for your assistance for me to organize this, and thank you for your participation. Looking forward to gather soon in more meet-ups and to do great things together!
