When we drive a car, we apply continuosly a set of rules, even if we do not think at the rules while we drive. The whole set of actions is unnatural, but our body, our brain, act like if this was a natural action (just think about the change of gears). The same is for shooting photos. I had the opportunity, in my life, to meet a lot of great photographers, all of them working in areas where is not possible to prepare a “setting” with the appropriate lights: Photo-reporters, Sport photographers, Paparazzi.
They always know which one is the best moment to shoot, this is now like a “natural” action for them.
What I mean is that, if a photo give emotions, is following an unwritten set of rules
