Hello fellow Local Guides! 
I’m Naresh Darji from Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, and I’ve been part of this amazing community since 2015.
2024 has been an absolute dream! 
It all started with a fantastic family trip, setting the tone for an incredible year. Then, in March, I was recognized as a top contributor at the Google Contributors Conversation in Mumbai – a truly humbling experience. 
The excitement continued in October when I joined a panel discussion with fellow moderators at the Google Local Guides Contributors Conversation in Delhi. Sharing our experiences and connecting with other passionate guides was unforgettable. 
November brought another milestone: my first Product Expert Summit! 
So much to learn and share!
And finally, to cap off this amazing year, I celebrated my 50th Local Guides
meetup!
We visited a UNESCO World Heritage Site with an incredible group of 54 attendees! It was by far the best meetup I’ve ever organized. 
Reflecting on the past, I feel profound gratitude for the meaningful friendships formed through the Local Guides program. With 2025 approaching, I am excited about the future. The 10th anniversary of Local Guides, alongside the 20th anniversary of Google Maps, marks truly important events. 
I’m currently working on some plans to honour these milestones with the community, and I look forward to sharing them in due course.
