The place where water runs through rocks

Thank you @Pratik_89 . Glad to know you have visited Las Vegas. There is always a next time and next time you visit Las Vegas, make sure you drive to Page from there. Or you can simply fly to Page from any major cities. It’s a place worth visiting.

HI @Stephanie_OWL , thank you for your kind words. Glad to know you liked my post. Yes, that picture looks like a heart. It was not really a heart shaped place, but the angle of taking the picture made it look like that. They have different points inside the canyon that look different if you can use the right angle for taking the picture. For example, the picture below. The spot is called angel’s wing. We didn’t realize that it would really look like two wings unless our tour guide asked us to sit there and he clicked from such an angle.

Yes, I felt like an angel after taking that photo too.

Thank you @TorM . You sure will love it if you visit the place. Don’t forget to book your tour next time you are in the USA.

HI @user_not_found , thank you for your comment. Don’t feel stupid for not checking this out while you were in Las Vegas.America is a pretty big country. It’s not possible to explore everything at one go. Even many people living here for over decades couldn’t make it to Antelope Canyon yet. I agree with you. Last Vegas is a fun place and it has so many things to do other than just gambling or boozing. I have been there a couple of times. Still couldn’t visit the Valley of Fire State Park. Just like I visited California, yet I couldn’t visit Death Valley even once. Maybe I should add these to my list next time I go there.

HI @porkgoldzhuzhu . Thank you for your kind words. Glad to know you enjoyed the post.

Hahahaha…those are no satellite images at all, I can assure it @AL_Rahat . But I agree with you, they are breathtaking, indeed. Glad that you liked it.

Hi @LuigiZ , thanks for your wonderful comment. Yes, we had a blast in our girls trip. This is indeed amazing how just sandstones with flash flood and wind can make such wonderful formations. You should keep this place in your list next time you visit the USA. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Thank you @Designer_Biswajit for your kind words. I am not a good photographer, but a smart one, may be. I learned to choose the angle smartly before taking the picture. And thanks to our tour guide who helped us click it right. I would never believe mobile phones could take such wonderful shots until I took these ones.

Definitely one of the best Travel post I’ve read in the last year, @SoniaK .

In common with @FaridTDF you have the great capacity of putting us in your backpack, so that we can “travel with you”.

It is incredible to see what water and winds can do, in millions of years. How is the feeling of touching the rocks?

Hi @Saddam_1 thank you for your nice comment. I usually use Canon - PowerShot SX30IS for any photos if I use a regular camera. However, these photos were taken by my Samsung Galaxy S7. Ever since I bought that phone (and the one after that, a gift from Google Local Guides team, Pixel 3XL) I hardly use my regular camera.

It felt incredible, @ErmesT . The cold sandstone wall, on a hot day itself was wonderful. But on top of that, the texture of the wall, as you can see in the photo, will give you some feeling that indescribable. Loved touching the rocks.

Hehehe, sure, I would love you take you all in my The North Face backpack so that you can “travel with me”.

Thank you for your kind words @IamJoseFelixAranda . Glad to know that you enjoyed reading the post.

Thank you @Niv1234 . Happy to share my experience.
