unfortunately this happens frequently. I don’t know why, but my guess is the mobile Maps app does know our recently visited places, but does not have access to the complete history of our posted reviews and media.
Even worse, as happened to me as well as others reported here:
If you decided to follow the suggestion to enter a review again, the old review might be lost! So better to remember what reviews you posted and ignore those suggestions.
The same is also true for photos (or videos?). The app suggests to post a photo we already did share and end up creating duplicates, which is against the rules for Local Guides!
