A 3-Day Itinerary to Explore Nashik - The Wine Capital of India

Nashik is a dream city in India to explore in 3 days.
From Vineyards to Riverfront to explore, and spicy Misal to sugarcane juice, Nashik offers a complete experience for families and backpackers alike.

I have visited Nashik dozens of times since 1989.
Recently I was here for a [meetup of local guides]

The Vineyards and wineries are the top attractions

Spend a day at the famous Nipha Vineyard.

:hotel: Where to Stay

There are plenty of options to stay in Nashik and my favorite is the budget-friendly Hotel Vaishali.

Explore the little-known monuments

The closest little monument at walking distance from the hotel is the Clock Tower.

Feel the vibes of the Riverfront

The next destination could be the Godavari Ghat Riverfront with its Lord Hanuman Temple.

Watch out for little and big surprises on the sidewalks

As you explore the city by walking, in your car, or riding a bike, little surprises like the Ashik Stambh and manikins outside tea shops will keep you entertained.

Do not miss the famous Nashik Misal Pav

For food, you can break at any of the famous Misal Shops, my favorite being the Sham Sundar Misal - Taste that lingers.

Returning from Nashik, you will be greeted with countless Misal joints, like the Sarpanch Misal on the Pune Highway

More craving for your taste-buds

Another delicacy not to be missed when in Nashik is the Pav Vada.

End the day with desserts

For desserts, one can head to the iconic Dairy Don for fresh flavors of ice cream and fruit juices.

Treat yourself to the freshly Sugarcane Juice

If is mid-day and you feel it is getting warm, take shelter in any of the Rasvanti Gruha Sugarcane vendors.

Whether you are on leisure travel or attending a local guides meetup, Nashik provides an all-round experience from comfort stay to exciting places to visit and food to try.

Challenge :flexed_biceps: :star_struck:
Which city have you visited staying there for 3 days or more?
Kindly share your detailed experiences.

I have stayed in several cities for three days or more, including Mumbai and Pune. In Mumbai, I stayed at the guest house of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, while in Pune, I stayed at the university guest house on campus alongside academicians from my field. I will look for photographs and share them here.

I got your point dear @MathanVibranarayan :+1:

However, I insist on listing places we have visited to share our experiences at those places.

Hence I have only included those and not others

Thank you @K.K.Sharma Ji
A 3-day itinerary would include all suggested places that one can visit comfortably in 3 days, including places to eat and stay - that is the idea of the post.

Hope you will be able to include these as well.

And, can share it as a separate post.

These will help local guides to plan their visit to a city.
