A Day out at the MABALI ISLAND!

If you feel like taking a day off from your routine life, let it be your university or your office, this is a very refreshing place to go to!
It’s located at the Khanpur Dam in Khanpur (near Taxila), so if you live nearby, visiting this place is a must!
They offer various activities like:

  • Zip line
  • beach volleyball
  • Tug of war
  • Boating
  • Jet skiing
  • Cliff jumping
  • Archery
  • BONFIRE!

And a lot of other things. They even have camps made there so if you plan on camping by the waterside but can’t go to far, you know where to go. The entrance fee is Rs. 500 per head but that’s adjustable against the activities/food.
It gets even better if you go to Mabali with a group of at least 6-8 (whether be friends of family) because most of these are group activities.
Now let’s talk about what we all love the most: yes dass right, FOOD! So they serve almost only Pakistani dishes but that too, very limited, like barbecue, Chicken Karahi etc and apart from that, tea, fries, and cookies!
So we decided to order Chicken Karahi but apparently their tandoor was malfunctioning so we order Chicken Tikka as main along with fries and chae.
Honestly, i thought the food would be average because food wouldn’t be their speciality, but to my surprise, it wasn’t just average! Everything was perfect, except that the chae was made from powdered milk! :disappointed: but if you’re a fan of it, you got no problem.
And oh my God i can’t get over the ambience it was so peaceful sitting on a raft have your meal while looking at the calm water.
