Welcome to #MonthlyTopic initiated by @HiroyukiTakisawa. The topic of June 2020 is “A good place for a sunny day”. And now, I would like to introduce you to Eibsee, a nice place for a sunny day.
This lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in the Bavarian Alps. Walking around the lake is a perfect activity for everyone during Autumn. Along the trail, you will see crystal clear water, Zugspitze view and surrounding forest with Autumn colors.
You need at least 3 hours to hike around Eibsee. If you have limited time, you can walk to Frillensee and then walk back to Eibsee-Brucke. These 2 spots are nice to visit.
There is a restaurant, seeRestaurant EIBSEE Pavillon, near the lake entrance. You can grab some refreshments and use a restroom at this restaurant.

to discover the alps, really best would be Innsbruck, because you have a very big choice.
While when you dedicated will visit this region it is in my opinion best to stay in Gramisch Patenkirchen or Mittenwald. You can go there by train from Munich.
If you stay in Munich, what is a option as well, you need to calculate about 1-2 hours to go there, especially in case there is traffic jam due to nice weather.

Yeah, you are right that Munich is not the best option as it’s far away. I would like to combine the both, to visit the lake and to visit Munich as well but let’s see.
