An unexpected visit to Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace

Hi everyone…

You all need to believe that the visit to Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace was really unexpected. Yesterday morning, I was rushing to my classes. But there was much traffic on reaching the Institute, I was more than half an hour late to my classes. So, I planned not to go to classes and decided to go home. And all of a sudden, a thing stroked my mind to why not to visit Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace. I get to know about Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace through Google Maps. When I was reading reviews about Bangalore Fort, a review by Local Guide suggesting to visit Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace which is near to Bangalore Fort. So, I made my way to Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace.

Note- I collaged photos in order to provide more photos of Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace.

I was so attracted by the incredible architecture of the Palace.

There were so visitors at that time exploring the beauty of this Palace. I took so many photos as well as to add it in Google Maps. I saw a guide explaining the history of this Palace to some visitors.

There was a place inside the palace where photo capturing is not allowed. A man in the palace took his valuable time to explain me and some other visitors about the history of the great Tipu Sultan, about his kingdom and his bravery. I was so inspired to know about a great man, Tipu Sultan. It was a great day on Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace.

After taking so many photos and videos in this palace, I returned back to home. I wish to visit this palace again.

I hope you all enjoyed reading my unexpected visit to Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace. Happy Guiding !

Hi @SalmaanN , i love this place , i visited it 3 times when i was a kid , later went to the original palace in mysore , such a great place with lot of history and heritage .

A tip that i wanted to give you is use limited photographs while posting and create a photo link and share the link with us , since local guide connect only allows 1000 photos you might reach the limit soon if you post many pictures in a single post .

Thanks for inviting me to your post @SalmaanN

Sharing culture is what I love more.

This is indeed an interesting and historical place, and I think that in some moment we should create a kind of “sub-board” for post like this.

It helps to learn, and learning is the most important way to remove barriers.

Thanks again

Whoo hoo, look what we have here. It’s @SalmaanN with a super one man Meetup . @SalmaanN Honestly I think when I visit India you would be my Local guide. Everyday I always remember the Vellore fort. Just because of how you share the rich cultural history of India with us. We see most of these things on movies but it is not as a good experience as this. Imagine how your recap experience and pictures are making me feel immersed in the place :P. Thanks for sharing once again brother !!
