Dear great members of the connect,
In this discussion, I would like to show you a beautiful picture of a Banana tree with the fruits.
The babana is a magical fruit with several health benefits components, in particular rich in Vitamins, like Iron . It also helps in digestion.
I do hope my friends would like this discussion.
Thanks .
@ShekharMuz_5 - I love bananas. Unfortunately where I live, I cannot grow bananas because I don’t live in a tropical climate. They would have to be grown in a greenhouse because my climate has fall and winter weather.
Is this banana tree in your yard? What country do you live in?
Cheers,
Karen
Hello @KarenVChin ,
I am lucky to have a land plot ,where we live with green campus, where a lof of trees , flowers and some vegetable plants. Among them, few are banana plants. I am from Muzaffarpur, India.
Thanks .
Hi @Mate123 – this post is not offtopic. @ShekharMuz_5 is sharing his love of bananas and has taken a great photo of a banana tree. He is trying to start a conversation with the Community here.
Bananas are grown in Central America (that is where the bananas are grown and shipped to the US) and South America, South East Asia, the Caribbean, Africa, China, and India.
Bananas are a nutritional food, famous for its potassium content.
Cheers,
Karen
@ShekharMuz_5 - you are very lucky you can grown your own food. Do you have mango and papaya trees? Those are my favorite fruits. Tree ripen is so much better than what is shipped (in container ships) to the US.
When I vacation in Hawaii or SE Asia, I eat as much fresh fruit I can get.
Cheers,
Karen

" Go green ."
This is our motivation.
OdliÄŤna fotka banane @ShekharMuz_5
Volim jesti banane.
Kod nas ih ima samo u trgovaÄŤkim centrima koje uvozimo.
Tako da nemam priliku vidjeti zelene banane kako rastu.
Pozdrav iz Hrvatske!

@renata1 for complements.
@ShekharMuz_5 – I have never met anyone from your city - Muzaffarpur, India. Looks like you live way up in northern India, close to Nepal.
You are very lucky to own such a large plot of land. I see they grow corn, mangos, tomatoes (upper right photo). May I ask what what are the two photos in the middle? I love to learn about new fruits and vegetables.
Cheers,
Karen
@ShekharMuz_5 - what is the name of this huge squash? I am assuming it is only grown in India?? or SE Asia?

Hello @KarenVChin ,
I feel great on prompt response and support . The pictures of huge squash is a Pumpkin-- a type of round shape vegetable item.
Some interesting points about my place Muzaffarpur, India is – it’s situated around 200 km south-east of Mount Everest.
Why I am naming Mount Everest here is I figure out my city in outstanding way ,as Muzaffarpur isn’t a big city, having around half million population . It has also a historical significance, when the Lord Buddha spent some time for his Incarnation at Vaishali–a 45 km west to Muzaffarpur.
I don’t wish to make a long tale here. Just give some references about my place.
How Toes .
Ps – @AdamsGT have great feelings about Mt. Everest. Once he mentioned about importance of Mt. Everest and gave preference to Mt Everest to being a Moderator. Processing: 1000162636.jpg…
