Italy is a wonderful country. So beautiful, and so rich of historical and touristic place that we (Italians) we don’t believe that we need to show them to the world.
With this post I want to invite everyone to show, or to watch, the beauty of our country, with a small comment and a link to Maps, so the local guides that want to visit Italy can make a choice.
The first picture is a statue made in bronze probably in the 5th century b.C. We know very little about its creation (which could take place in Greece or South Italy) or what it represents (could be a warrior, one of the seven of Thebes) but we have no doubt about its astonishing beauty. The statues are actually two and you can admire them in Reggio Calabria, South Italy, at the Museo Nazionale della Magna Grecia https://goo.gl/maps/29kBhUoe3Cn
The second pictures was taken in Tropea, a little town located in the region of Calabria, South Italy. It is well known for its onions and its wonderful sunset
With all these lovely, gorgeous, sunny photos of Italy, we need to be either on Vespas or Fiat convertibles to travel around and soak up all this beautiful countryside @ErmesT .
