Everyone knows about sea shells but I have seen some beautiful and colorful sea shells that I have shared here.

Incredible colors abound in warm tropical waters. A higher concentration of organics in warmer seas provides a greater abundance and variety of food for mollusks, perhaps contributing to their fantastic colors. The greatest artist of all is truly nature itself.

Frog Sea Shell: This sea shell gets is name from its warty appearance. Closely related to the Triton, frog shells are carnivorous creatures which feed on marine worms and other mollusks. They live among rocks and coral in both inter-tidal and offshore waters of the Indo-Pacific. These large sea shells display nicely around the house. Natural yet entertaining decor. They have that "you can hear the ocean" effect when placed by your ear.

Egg Shells Cowrie: Egg sea shells are white with a natural glossy exterior. The shape is similar to a an egg but with a narrow slit opening. They are found in shallow water reefs on black sponges. They are known as false, or allied cowries.

Tiger Cowrie: Tiger Cowrie seashells are smooth, shiny, egg shaped shells with long narrow slit-like openings. These cowry shells are usually whitish or pale brown with dark spots and blotches and have a natural porcelain-like shine. They can be found under coral rocks in the Indo-Pacific.

Turritella Sea Shells: Turritella seashells are also known as "screw shells". They have slender spirals and range in color from tan to dark brown. They can be found on sandy mud in the S.W. Pacific. By drilling small holes in them, they can be turned into a shell flute.

Green Jade Turbo Seashells: Some green jade turbo seashells are very smooth and others are bumpy. These large turbos are mostly green with some hints of brown. The shade of green varies slightly from shell to shell.

Strombus Sea Shells: Strombus sea shells are white on the inside and brown and white on the outside. These common looking shells can be used in baskets, lamps and craft projects. Sometimes they are crafted into unopened roses by cutting off the tip and inserting a stem. They are common in shallow waters of the S.W. Pacific.

Those are some good pics of sea shells @MdRazibulHasan . I always try to find seashells when i go to the beach.
