Benefit?

Is there any benefit to being a Local Guide?

Yes, guiding people to find better and accurate places, navigate correctly, buy from authentic places. Mapping improves the visibility of businesses, community, parks, stadiums and many such places around us. It helps connect people in your locality. All that said when you do it you get to participate in events which provides rewards time to time however it’s neither compulsion nor a guarantee its all a volunteer effort.

:glowing_star:Dear @naing7, A warm welcome to Local Guides Connect! :glowing_star: :tada:

“Local Guides is a global community of explorers who write reviews, share photos, answer questions, add or edit places, and check facts on Google Maps. Millions of people rely on contributions from Local Guides to decide where to go, what to do, and how to get there” is clearly stated at About Local Guides Page.Participation in the program is voluntary. While occasional perks might be offered, the primary motivation for contributing is not to receive rewards.
