Betel leaf, tradition of food

Betel leaf is a common and traditional food in some Asian countries. Specially Bangladesh,India,Pakistan etc .

its a leaf comes from tree and some other ingredients need to eat it .like betel nut, lime, saffron, honey , tobacco leaf etc.

its specially served to elder persons greetings. .still now its served to guest in house, any special programs.in some locality or community its also prestigious food .

Well, @mdjhfc , in our tradition the pork is probably on the top. In December, specially, for Christmas, we are making at home many pork meats dishes.

The following one is made by me a few days ago: meat, carrots, cherry tomatoes, onions, peppers, a bit garlic and parsley, salt and black pepper.

Served with mashed potatoes and pickles.
