These pictures I took from Betilla Landlords House last year. This place is only 8 kilometers away from my village home! So, I have been to this place many times.
The ‘Betilla Landlords House’ in Manikganj was built a few centuries ago. I heard from my father, It was built by the late Jyoti Babu & Satya Babu. They are rich traders involved in jute business (golden fiber of Bangladesh). This place is currently being used as a government shelter centre.
It’s a beautiful place for nature lovers. The transportation system is also very good. This place is only 4.5 kilometers away from Manikganj city.
These pictures I took with a ‘Canon 1000D’ camera.

সুন্দর সুন্দর কিছু ছবির সাথে আপনার পোস্ট খুব ভালো হয়েছে @Designer_Biswajit দাদা। আপনার দেওয়াা ছবি দেখে মনে হচ্ছে, আশেপাশের পরিবেশ সহ বাড়িটিও দেখতে খুব সুন্দর।
মানিকগঞ্জের বালিয়াটি জমিদার বড়ির মত এই জমিদার বাড়িটি ততটা সুন্দর না হলেও একেবারে খারাপ না। তবে বালিয়াটি জমিদারবাড়ী যেমন অনেক বড় জায়গা নিয়ে গঠিত, এই জমিদার বাড়িটি ততো বড় এরিয়া জুড়ে নয়। তবে গেলে অবশ্যই ভালো লাগে।

This building is explicitly designed. I want to ask if you know,what style of Architecture is it designed from?
Here, we have alot of old buildings designed by the British but unfortunately only few are still standing nowadays. To tell you the truth those buildings were designed with the tropical climate in view, most of the existing ones are very sustainable. Those buildings has adequate Thermal comfort.
Unfortunately I dont have any pictures of this kind of building now. But let me share you an old building in University of Nigeria, Enugu campus
