So yesterday 30th March was my birthday which I spent in total lock down due to the Covid19 outbreak. I had plans of going out on a picnic with my friends but corona virus happened.
Anyways I thank God for an awesome 26 years. 11 years ago, I had a ghastly motor accident which claimed 18 lives but here I am with another year added and still counting. Yes, they call me miracle child because I am the only survivor from the vehicle I was in.
I spent yesterday indoor trying to complete and submit my connect live application before deadline. There was no electricity most part of yesterday - Naija problems which we are used to. I spent my whole day on the bed struggling with poor internet connectivity and low battery on my smartphone. My battery got flat severally and I ran out of petrol for my generator. Thankfully with the help of my laptop, I was able to boost my battery after which the laptop battery went flat immediately after I clicked the submit button.
Corona or no Corona, It is a big 26 for me and I am forever grateful for living.
Happy birthday @Sophytrick interesting to hear of your power issues. We tend to take services like power for granted so its always annoying when we can’t get what we need. Good that you got your application in and good luck.
Happy birthday and thanks for sharing your story with us! We should always appreciated what we have, our battery, our connection, our family, our own life. You reminded us we need to be grateful, thankful and optimistic. Thanks for inspiring us with your smile. Keep smiling!
