Dear Local Guide Friends

If you’re looking for a unique and unforgettable experience in Saudi Arabia, I’ve got the perfect adventure for you - Camel riding! :dromedary_camel: :sparkles:
During This year’s Holy Hajj journey to this Holy country, I had the chance to hop on a camel’s back and explore the picturesque landscapes of Taif near Mecca and the enchanting Wadi Jinn area near Medina.
Let me share my camel-riding experience with you!

:round_pushpin: Wadi Jin Camel Riding
Near the historic city of Medina, the Wadi Jin area offers a chance to explore the stunning desert landscapes in a unique way - camel riding! The experience was not only fun but also a way to connect with Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural heritage. The camels were well-cared-for and accustomed to carrying riders through the desert sands.

The camel ride in Wadi Jin was an immersive experience, lasting around 20 to 30 minutes. As I rode through the golden dunes, I couldn’t help but be mesmerized by the serene beauty of the desert. It was a journey that allowed me to slow down, appreciate the moment, and truly connect with nature.

:round_pushpin: Taif Camel Riding Experience
Located near the holy city of Mecca, Taif offers not only refreshing mountain air but also an opportunity to connect with the local culture through camel riding. As I mounted the gentle giants, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe and excitement. The rhythmic sway of the camel’s movements was surprisingly soothing, and it was an excellent vantage point to soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.

The camel handlers were friendly and experienced, ensuring a safe and enjoyable journey. The ride lasted around 20 to 30 minutes, giving me ample time to capture the incredible beauty of Taif on my camera. From lush greenery to rugged terrains, the scenery was a blend of contrasts that left me in awe.

Hello @engrNasir

I like this story and thank you for sharing it with us on connect. Although I kind of wonder if it should be under travels more than local stories.

Anyways, I love nature and everything that goes with it. It’s quite refreshing. I haven’t ever been on camels or horses!!! Did you have the ride before or after the hajj? Did you do the ride alone or with someone to help or guide you? I hope sometime I’ll get the chance to go horse riding or even camel riding . It may not be in Saudi but surely somewhere. Nice photos you’ve clicked.

Happy guiding

Cheers
