Last year I went to my village in Greece. I meticulously put every single shop, water well, church, and notable location on Google. There were photos and precise locations on the map. For the past few months, I have been getting notifications from Google about posts being deleted. The playground, churches and other locations. There is no explanation. I do not understand this. Does anyone know anything?

Two potential explanations:
If you created them using incorrect categories they might be flagged for removal by fellow Maps users.
Maybe someone is purposefully trying to remove places to earn points by adding them again. There is not much you can do about it.

Thank you for your feedback. I suspect that someone is having the posts removed. The places I identified are already visible on Google maps. They just were not identified. It is curious that having them removed is so easy. It is very frustrating.
