I’ve added caption in my photos but it’s still says I’ve added zero captions.
Do I have to add else where?
Can someone help?

Hi @Iban_nongkhlaw , First of all welcome back to Connect after a very long time. I see you are still posting wonderful photos of food in Google Maps, but please be careful about duplicates.
Sorry for responding so late to your question. There is a know issue about the use of the term “Captions” in two different ways in Google Maps for mobile. The issue has been raised to Google on 2023, and hopefully they will fix it.
For a detailed explanation of the use of Captions and to explain why your count of “Captions” is zero you can read All About CAPTIONS, a well detailed topic written by our friend @Kumaarsantosh, with also useful links to the Official posts.
With the help of his post you will be easily able to increase that figure.

From my experience, you only get points for adding a photo together with its caption via News from Customers Visitors to the listing from the mobile app.
If you add captions to your photos through My Contributions (also only possible on mobile), you don’t earn points.

@WilfriedB @Iban_nongkhlaw I get points if I open the place on Maps, scroll down to “Post a Photo Update”, type a caption where it indicates “Say something about your photos”, select the photo, then click Post.
(Possibly “News from Customers” is a translation from another language).

Very likely, it looks different depending on the language, Tony.
I made mistake saying “customers”, which should be “visitors”, translating the German term “Von Besuchern” (as opposed to “Vom Inhaber” = “By the owner”).
I always have to search a bit, scroll down and move the tabs to the left. For me, this is the only way to get points for captions, but there might be others. For sure, using My Contributions → Photos allows you to add captions, which I do often, but never get points for that.
Possibly the layout differs also. Here are two screenshots with German UI. Clicking on “Fotobeitrag hinzufügen” (“Add photo contribution”) brings up another dialog where you can enter the text and select the photo together.
