Today is celebrated as National Espresso Day (November 23rd). As you may ask, why International in cover photo? Now Espresso Day is celebrated worldwide but we still call it National. For this matter, the post will be referred to as International Espresso Day.
Even though I am a coffee person, I never had an espresso drink until I got invited to Google Office at Bangalore for Crowdsource Contributors Convention with @Shrut19 (may be around 2022 or 2023). There I had Espresso with Almond milk (can say it’s Cappuccino but without foam). This day is always memorable because of that.
Types of Espresso Drink (famous):
Espresso Shots - finely grounded Coffee beans extracted by hot water through pressure.
Ristretto - more finer coffee grounds are used which have more concentrated coffee flavour.
Doppio - it has twice the amount of coffee grounds as compared to espresso Shots.
Cappuccino - has 1/3rd espresso, 1/3rd steamed milk and topped with foam.
Caffe’ Latte - equal parts brewed espresso and steamed milk. Also topped with foam.
Mocha - espresso with milk and Chocolate and topped with syrup as caramel and peppermint.
Americano - A single/double shot of espresso with hot water.
There are 21 types of espresso drinks but these are the famous one’s around the water.
How you can find shops that serves espresso near you
Wow a tripe shot, that’s too much for me and Hazelnut Frappè is so wonderful. You know what’s difference between a chai and a coffee. However the emotion is, we take Chai/Tea but coffee is for the calm moment. It’s like Coffee is a younger sister of Chai/Tea .
Brilliant post, dear @Rahul001
I love every part of it especially the banner.
I will participate soon
Yes, it doesn’t matter which part of the world Coffee Day is celebrated in.
Every day is a good day to enjoy our Coffee and tell the world how great it was
Hay @Rahul001 I appreciate the tag, and I really enjoyed the coffee, especially Kerala Styal filter coffee with a small steel kettle and glass. However, these days, I prefer making my own Colombian coffee at home.
Thank you, dear @Rahul001 , for sharing a delightful cup of coffee with us this morning.. I like your post, you covered many details about National Espresso Day with beautiful photos.
@Rahul001 Tamil Nadu is a part of southern India as well. Though they may have Tamil roots, I enjoyed the service that Trivandrum coffee shops offered.& “Colambia coffee” refers to coffee that was produced in Colombia.
Hello dear Rahul…
Coffee, especially in South India is great and in the north, you will have more selections of chai/tea…
Nice post…
The banner came out very well… great
Thanks for tagging me, dear friend…
