How can we as Local Guides celebrate?

  • Share a photo :framed_picture: of your favourite organic breakfast and where you had it in the comments or as a post.
  • Participate in @AjitThite’s challenge called Khaana Khazaana! to show home cooked dishes by focusing on Organic ingredients.
  • Support Organic dishes served by your Local Cafes/restaurants (These businesses should serve their dishes organically).

What can be Considered as Organic on Google Maps as a Local Guide?

Screenshot from a feature provided by a Hotel on Google Maps.

  • Food (from cafes or restaurants or bakery) that are made with ingredients which should be collected locally (from local businesses) or farmed at their own lands.
  • If the food is Homemade, ingredients should be collected locally or farmed at one’s land. So that we help local business too.
  • There’s no special criteria but the food should be cooked at the spot of serving.
  • Takeaways also considered as Organic but make sure not to use plastics or any related products like Plastics.
  • Chai and locally made drinks can be Organic but business has to collect to ingredients locally or straight from the source.

Nice post dear @Rahul001
What constitutes an organic breakfast?
Which things should we avoid so as not to disqualify as organic?
Kindly educate. Sorry, I am new to this.

Nice post, @Rahul001.
I think the preparation must be simple for these dishes. If you know any, please do share; that will be a perfect part of the #Khaanakhazaana series.

Cheers!

Hello, dear @Rahul001
Me and my wife, we do practice Chia seed with dry nuts/milk for the breakfast for four to five days a week…
Well the word ‘Organic’ is commercially exploited and adulteration is done for the benefit of profit… In cities like Bangalore, it is difficult to ensure this…
Any way, your post is good and the photos are also impressive.
Great :+1:
Thanks for sharing

Thank you @TravellerG for your valuable comment and words :folded_hands:.

What you said is true. On Google Maps, reviews by local guides can get us to know whether the business serves truly an organic or not.

That’s seems delicious @TravellerG. Chia seeds have benefits right.

Had this small side dish in the morning - (fruits with Ghee)

To a great extent, you are right… however, we have lost money with Organic purchase from shops scoring more than 4 rating…sad…
All the best, dear Rahul

Yes, Chia seed is the best best vegitable substitute for Omega 3.
From childhood, I’m not fond of Ghee…well fruits are good…
