cover photo for Celebrate World teachers’ day with me
Hy Local Guides,
Today is celebrated as World Teachers’ Day ( October 5th ). This day is to honour teachers’ value, dedication and passion worldwide. This day was established in 1994 by UNESCO for recognising their roles in future generations.
Teachers play an important role in all of our lives. They serve as an educationist, friend and moreover as a guides for students. They are the first faces we see when we start to explore the world as it is. The process of making a teacher ( course of education ) is so good that they really make an impact. As I have close friends with teachers ( who are around my age ) and soon to be a teacher, punctuality is the first process for them. It’s a process of continuous activities that reform a person into a teacher. They influence us and our future.
The theme for 2024 :
Valuing Teacher Voices: Towards a New Social Contract for Education.
Aim:
- To celebrate the contributions of teachers in our society.
- Raise awareness for quality education for both teachers and students.
- Raise awareness for the challenges and needs of the teachers.
How to observe:
- Express your gratitude to your teachers.
- Support small local schools by donation.
- Organise school events.
Comment down if anyone here is a teacher or soon-to-be a teacher and share your experiences. Also please write down your memories from your school life.
Happy teachers’ Day.
Respect Teachers.
