It was an amazing long way with this community!

I tried to join every initiative of this community!
Local Guides Volunteer Day 2016 was the first official initiative I participated in with my Bangladesh team.
I joined the 36 Photo Walk by Paul which was an amazing idea about photography!
Joined Mapping Your world week from my home city Cumilla.
I also hosted a great event to collaborate with Local Guides clean the worldin Dhaka
2018 I also hosted my first Accessibility Meetup to make aware of Google Maps accessibility facilities and Local accessibility rights in Dhaka!
I was one of the first initiators of ASIA One Summit, held in 2019 by India Local Guides!
Awarded as an Accessibility Champion on 2019
During the Pendemice in 2020, we hosted a great Local Guides virtual meetup series.
Awarded as a Connect Moderator for my quality time on Connect!

@TiffanyBnyc Thank you the highlight. Wow 10 years of wonderful memories.
It’s been a very interesting journey! People we met along the way, friends we made and of course making maps useful and helpful for billions of users makes me smile. Thank you Google and the entire Local Guides!
Some of my memorable moments:
2017: Google invited top Local Guides in Lagos for “Map the World Week.” I met some awesome LGs for the first time.
@U-RoyEmeka @SanyaOdare etc
2018: I got an opportunity to meet Local Guides from over 50 countries in San Francisco. It was fun to see folks I interacted with on Connect Forum in person.
Karen, Ermes, Paul etc.
2019: With inspiration I got from Traci and motivation by top Local Guides and Googlers in California, I started One Accessibility Initiative. The cooperation and teamwork was superb. I loved how everyone supported the idea to add more accessibility information to maps.
Our initiative created massive awareness and enlightened many Local Guides about what accessibility and inclusion was all about. Many of these Local Guides became our team members and many more went on to become Accessibility Champions!
This singular achievement makes me happy everyday being a local guide! Thanks to the entire GMs for their support. Let’s do more.
Happy 10th anniversary guys!!!
Huge congrats to all the featured Local Guides! Your passion makes this community thrive.
Thanks @TiffanyBnyc for the inspiring thread!
Definitely the Patan #50LGmeetup by @NareshDarji and the Indroda Park 10th anniversary meetup by me.
Connecting with fellow explorers and exploring amazing places like Rani Ki Vav and Regional Science Center makes being a Local Guide so rewarding!
Super excited for 2025 as a Local Guide! More meetups, hidden gems, helpful reviews, and fun posts on Connect are on my list. Fingers crossed for some Google goodies to celebrate the community’s 10th anniversary too!
Thank you very much for making such a platform for us where we can connect with other people beyond borders. As well as we can learn many things from here.
The most memorable moment for me is the 10th years celebration of BDLG. Around 200 local guides came here from all over the country. It’s a proud moment for me to attend such a program.
