What a journey it has been @TraciC from the early experience through to day and becoming a volunteer Connect Moderator sometime in between. Many amazing memories from the rush of posts during Connect Live applications through to the meetups and great posts that attract so much interest.

I just joined the community yesterday through a colleague of mine in the office. I actually like the community and hope to contribute my quota while also learning from members in here.
Wow @TraciC 5 years have already passed! How time flies! It feels like it’s only been a day since we all met together for the first time in San Jose during Connect Live 2019 … 
what a thrill! It’s amazing how quickly the family expanded by creating such strong bonds and providing contributions and great ideas to improve our beloved Connect! May this fifth birthday be one of many, happy birthday Connect and thanks also to all the people who made this possible

i interact with virtual mode mostly through connect meer, so far we have conducted more than 50 meet up in india ,yes this was not done alone by me ,the support from our LG family without which i am nothing.

Que cantidad de tiempo qué pasó 5 años , desde que comenzamos a transitar este viaje. Google Maps fue el nexo de todos los amigos Local Guides hasta llegar a Connect, en mi caso @TraciC , comencé a contribuir al poco tiempo que abrió Connect .
Paso mucha agua bajo el puente 
y siempre la constante fue mejorar la experiencia que teníamos los usuarios con Connect 
hoy es un foro maduro, que quizás me falta algunas mejoras para que la experiencia de usuario sea más plena, supongo que eso lo tendremos con Connect 3.0 
.
Descubrí Connect en las noticias de Google y en la antigua red social de Google, G+. El enamoramiento con este foro fue de inmediato, tener un sitio donde poder hablar y compartir con otros Local Guides fue lo mejor de todo. Es un sitio hermoso para conocer amigos y descubrir sitios increíbles 
. Todo esto me permitió sentirme muy contento he integrarme de una manera muy natural. Este foro nos ayudo a mejorar las contribuciones en Google Maps 
y a varios dueños de negocios del mundo real.
Mi deseo es ver activo y vibrante a Connect con nuevas posibilidades de usabilidad, por muchos años más

I cannot wait to read about all the Connect memories!!!
I joined the Local Guides program in 2017 and I started, as everyone, contributing only in Google Maps.
I discovered Connect on February next year when I received an email inviting me to postulate for Connect Live 2018, but I did not. Since then I was a year just reading the amazing stories that others wrote here and I discovered and learned about a lot of new places.
My fist post was a year after, on march 2019 to postulate to Connect Live that year. That was the start of an amazing journey. Since then I made a lot of amazing friends, I started to host meet-ups and to participate in the ones hosted by other Local Guides in Argentina, I made a dreamed travel to San Francisco for CL2019 and I have been selected as Connect Moderator and Guiding Star last year.
I cannot be more happy with all the good things this foro gave to me!
