For yesterday’s meetup, We Pune Local Guides met at a charming little spot called Cafe Garden located on MG road of Pune. True to its name, the cafe is located beside a beautiful garden—perhaps that’s where the name came from!
The cafe has been around for quite some time, and is thoughtfully renovated, giving it a fresh and inviting vibe. We decided to try their special tea along with the classic bun maska—a perfect combo for great conversations!
Over cups of steaming chai, we discussed about Google Maps features (adding new place on Google maps) @TusharSuradkar sir shared ideas for our next Local Guide meetup and me and @MerlinThomas exchanged stories from our our previous meetups. @AjitThite sir distributed few new stickers. Must say he is very creative at designing.
As always, we wrapped up the day by supporting a local gem—because every small cafe, every cup of chai and every meetup helps keep our community growing.

This area is called MG Road, not very different from the MG Road in Bengaluru, with all costly shops and some occasional cheap ones.
Our tea out here was costly too, at Rs. 25 compared to the Rs. 10-12 elsewhere.
But we will be returning here often to explore the heritage sites and some more food walks
