Challenge: Nature is Amazing...!

Last week @TravellerG took us to the famous Lalbag Botanical Garden.
I came across this amazing Bougenvillea with multiple-colored flowers on the same tree.

This amazed me.

Here’s the view of the same plant from the other side.

Also in the same garden, I bumped into a very tall tree.

Look at the height of people for comparison.
This amazed me since I had never seen a tree so tall.

Fortunately, I was not wearing a hat; otherwise, it would have fallen looking at the top

Finally, while returning from Bangalore, now called Bengaluru, I saw these unusually large leaves from the train. These amazed me a lot since I had never seen such large leaves.
I guess these were easily 4 to 5 feet in length.

Challenge: :trophy: :1st_place_medal: :trophy:

Also, tell what is so amazing or unusual about it.
KINDLY DO NOT DUMP YOUR FAVOURITE NATURE PHOTOS HERE.

Great Challenge @TusharSuradkar .

Here’s my entry :

This is inside Napier museum, and situated just in front of Trivandrum Zoo. First I thought, it might be a tree that blooms, but it is just one creeper plant that spread the yellow throughout.

A fabulous post and photo, dear @Rahul001 :+1:

Dr. @K.K.Sharma - can you please add to your post - what was amazing about the nature in your photo? Was that something unusual or something you had never seen before? That is the challenge.

Looking forward to your amazing nature photo…

Another entry @TusharSuradkar :

Saw this beautiful old tree in Fort Kochi covered with ferns, might have took the ferns 5 or more years to take over. Got to capture this during @TravellerG’s Accessible Kochi Meetup.

This looks fabulous as well @Rahul001

Yes, I remember seeing this kind of tree too - mostly dead,
but surrounded by creepers giving the false feeling of a green tree.

  1. What amazed me in nature:

I am sharing three photos taken at Genting Highlands, each capturing nature’s beauty in a way I had never experienced before:

•	The first photo showcases a breathtaking view of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline from the highlands, where the cityscape blends seamlessly with nature in a dreamy haze.

•	The second photo highlights the Awana Skyway, a cable car ride floating above lush green mountains, offering an unforgettable panoramic experience.

•	The third photo captures the serenity of Chin Swee Temple, nestled within the misty highlands, surrounded by stunning landscapes and a peaceful ambiance.

Nature’s ability to create such contrasting yet harmonious sights—towering skyscrapers in the distance, floating cable cars above dense forests, and a tranquil spiritual retreat in the hills—left me truly amazed.

    Genting Highlands

These photos were taken with my iPhone 14 Pro Max, and they are unedited—because nature’s beauty needs no enhancement!
Thanks for your nice initiative, @TusharSuradkar vai.

Very nice challenge :+1: @TusharSuradkar Ji.

Here is my entry, A small herbs called Jatropha integerrima, commonly known as peregrina or spicy jatropha, is a species of flowering plant in the spurge family, Euphorbiaceae, that is native to Cuba and Hispaniola. The picture is taken from my apartment balcony.

Amazing shot @PatraSomnath :+1: I consider this as unusual that is found in India being a native of some other country.
