Chinese Dim sum - in indian style

Dim sum is a traditional food in China and most of the South eastern countries of Asia continent. In India it is served as the Fast food or evening snacks. In china they use to serve dim sum with Tea and eat as breakfast. Dim sum in china is served on a steamer or plate ( pre steam) with sauce. Dim sum in china is dumplings filled with veg-noodles, pork noodles, pork rice and boiled vegetables.

In india, they are generally serve with Vegetables inside and steamed. Vegetables like boiled cabbage inside the Finely milled wheat floor with tomato and garlic sauce. But Now a day Indian find there own way to eat this dish. Indian love to eat fried fast food usually north indian. Dishes like Samosha, aloo chat (meshed potatoes), Vada paav ( indian style burger) are usually served after fried in Refined mustard oil. These dishes are commonly found on the streets of India. So, we also modified dim sum in our traditional way. We started to deep fry the dumpling in mustard and start enjoying this Dish by our own way.

Yes, In india dim sum is known by the name “Momos”.

555 @Sahilmsk2208 I m not sure actually because I m Thai…for me Dim sum, I always have it as Chinese main course, not specific only with tea and we have various Dim Sum not only Momos. Maybe @DennisNguyen better know about this, I think he also has Chinese race.
