City Street Art: Painted Animation Lane in Taichung City

This August, I had a weekend trip to Taichung City, the second largest city in Taiwan, with a couple of friends. It wasn’t my first ever visiting the place but back then, it was either school trips or short-stop visits so I didn’t get to see much. This time, I had more leisure time exploring the city, and here comes my favorite spot!

Located in West District and a bit far from other tourist attractions in Taichung City, it took about 30 minutes to walk from Taichung main station to Painted Animation Lane (動漫彩繪巷 in Mandarin). It’s a must-not-miss mural gathering for all animation and cartoon lovers. The lane isn’t very long but all the beloved characters on the walls make it a fun land to visit!

Voila, time for the animation tour!!

Hmmm…

Long time, no street Art on Connect. Your photos are stunning @ChanneLing ! More than everything else this post details, I see you are no longer a student, congratulations on your graduation.

I know the Street Art Lovers like Paul and Adam will surely visit this post, so, let me call Ania’s attention to it, @AniaKiser

Hallo @ChanneLing

Hi @Stephanie_OWL ,

Thanks for commenting and sharing your story with us!

WOW, you’ve drawn garage doors? That must be very challenging as the surface is not smooth, and yes, as you say, precision is key! It’s cool that you trade a car repair with your art work, what a talent!

And yes! It’d be awesome if we get to see your work! ‌
