Previously, I used to get notifications when someone posted on Connect but now I don’t. I checked all the settings and they are correct, but I don’t understand what the problem is.

@Rakshith_LG I have the same settings, but do receive email notifications, but less than before.
Did you check
your SPAM folder?
and the connect Settings → Account → email , if the address is correct without any typo? There is also the possibility to set an alternate email address, but I never used that.

I have no issues with the notifications from LGConnect, and in fact I’m responding here because I received the email.
My only problem (I will have to work on it) is that the notifications from LGConnect are all classified as “promotions”
Thanks for mentioning the false positive about Connect messages @TiffanyStockstill this was reported to me on the weekend by others including @ShailendraOjha. I’m sure that @DeniGu will follow this up with some urgency.
Regarding the Leaderboard notifications, you can see a discussion on this on the October points leaderboards post starting with the comment by @PrasadVRhere.
It’s possible that you don’t receive email notifications as often as before because you’re not following other Local Guides or tracking categories/topics. Here’s a great tutorial on how to stay updated on the content you care about.
Hi @ErmesT and @TerryPG, I found this article with steps on how to move emails from your Promotions folder to your Primary inbox. Moving a couple of messages should teach Gmail to correctly classify the emails from Connect moving forward.
