Dear Connect,
If and when you visit Nara, admire the cute deer, but do not tease, kick, and touch them. The food you are allowed to feed the deer here is called deer senbei / rice cracker you can buy there.

Dear @Tony
The photo is really amazing… Your suggestions will be very helpful for future visitors, as many have a tendency to disturb and touch animals.
Can you share with us more details about this place, when to travel here? Is a ticket required to enter here?
if you share the google maps link others can find the place very easily.
Best Regards
Kamal
One of the places you can go for deer crackers is here.
The deer in Nara are deified and sacred to the locals. No tickets needed as the deer roam freely throughout the area.
Ein sehr schönes Bild @Tony
Haben die Hirsche keine Scheu vor den Menschen.
Unsere Hirsche verschwinden sobald sie Witterung von Menschen bekommen.
Nice, @Tony
I indeed followed your indication when I visited Nara.
A post about my visit in Nara is actually work in progress. Stay tuned for more
