5th September is celebrated as Teachers’ Day in India . We consider that teachers are backbone to our progress. A teacher can make a student to ideal citizen . I think that bond of teachers and students is not only for studies but also to become a real man which is more important nowadays.
Teachers’ Day in India is celebrated to recall and show respect the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was first Vice-President of India and also was Second President of India.
Read some inspirational quotes of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan is here .
On this day students in all education organizations like as~ local educator, schools, colleges, universities, etc. arrange various types of activities. Some students call their teachers for saying-“Happy Teachers’ Day”. Also some students send SMS to their teachers. They spend some quality time with their teachers on this day.
Due to a pandemic situation, this year we’re stuck indoors. So many education-organization will not be able to celebrate this day.
Whenever you learn something from someone then he will be your teacher.
P__arents is the best and most valuable teacher in our entire life.
You can share your experiences about Teachers’ Day with us.
Amazing writing @KalyanPal . You have presented the full scenario in a very nice way. You are absolutely right, teachers are the backbone of our education, of our nation. Traditionally, teachers in this sub-continent, get honor and respect. But with the passing of time, the relationship between the teacher and the student is loosening. So the teacher’s day can help us to rebuild this bond stronger. In Bangladesh, Teachers Day is observed on October 5 every year. On that day we also wish our teachers and try to meet them. Thanks a lot for sharing this nice post in detail. And thanks for tagging me. Regards.
Congratulations @KalyanPal for this very important post and you have conceived it nicely. With well supportive comments by @MukulR and @Anil6969 on the importance of the relationship of student and teacher, a child and mother. Kudos to all.
