I want to allow people to follow me on my Google Maps profiles so I can have a social following and they can also see my new reviews.
How do I do this?

- While replying to a specific Local Guide (LG) or to mention a specific LG, please use ‘@’ followed by the respective LG user id. You will get this by typing ‘@’, then a list with suggestions appears, e.g. mine is @Kumaarsantosh.
To allow others to follow you on Google Maps Profile, you need to update your profile visibility settings by following the below steps:
For Android:
- Open the Google Maps app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Settings → Personal Content → Profile Privacy
- Disable this switch to make your profile public.
For iOS:
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Maps app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Settings → Personal Content → Profile Privacy
- Disable this switch to make your profile public.

Welcome to Connect.
When you post an interesting content in a listing in Google Maps, your contribution (especially photos and videos) will be highlighted in the “explore” section of the App of Google Maps.
When you post constantly, Maps will also suggest to Follow you, according to the preferred of the visitors.
However I see that you only have a recent contribution, while the previous ones are all older than a year.
Keep contributing with interesting contents and for sure you will start to gain followers.
