- While replying to a specific Local Guide (LG) or to mention a specific LG, please use ‘@’ followed by the respective LG user id. You will get this by typing ‘@’, then a list with suggestions appears, e.g. mine is @Kumaarsantosh.
To allow others to follow you on Google Maps Profile, you need to update your profile visibility settings by following the below steps:
For Android:
- Open the Google Maps app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Settings → Personal Content → Profile Privacy
- Disable this switch to make your profile public.
For iOS:
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Maps app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Settings → Personal Content → Profile Privacy
- Disable this switch to make your profile public.
