Hello @IfeanyiKOH . In my Bengkulu dialect I would say “terimo kasih” which is very similar to bahasa Indonesia expression for “terima kasih”. For less formal I would say “trims”.
In Tehran, Iran, we say “mamnoun”, “moteshakeram”, “merci” and the funnest one: “dastet dard nakoneh” which literally means “hope your hand doesn’t hurt”!!! Haha!
Yes. Bengkulu dialect is one of 400’s dialects spoken in Indonesia. Bengkulu is a province located on Sumatra island and has about 4 million inhabitants. Imela @IfeanyiKOH .
Really?! @AdriansyahPutera I think we share peculiarity in this regard because Nigeria is known to have well over 500 dialects. There’s in fact a region named Akoko in Ondo State where some neighbouring villages speak entirely different dialects. I hope to have you come visit Nigeria someday!
