How to Add a Featured Topic to Your Profile

Hello LG Community :pray:,

Highlighting a specific post on your profile is a great way to showcase your most important achievements, upcoming events, or recent discussions. Let’s see how you can do it!

What is a Featured Topic?
A Featured Topic is a specific subject or theme highlighted on your profile. It allows you to showcase something important, like your latest post or discussion, to provide focus for your audience.

For Local Guides, a Featured Topic could be:

  • Your latest achievement or milestone.
  • An upcoming meetup or a recap of a past meetup.
  • A recent post

Here’s an example: Connect Moderator @NareshDarji has added upcoming meetup in his Featured Post. (Highlighted in blue).

How Can You Add a Featured Topic to Your Profile?
Step 1 :

  • Go to your Local Guides Connect Dashboard.
  • Click on your profile image in the top-right corner.
  • Select Preferences.

Step 2 :

  • Navigate to the Profile tab
  • Under Featured Topic, click on Select a New Topic.

Last Step :

  • Search for the topic or paste the link of the post you want to feature.
  • Click on Save.
  • Scroll down and click on Save Changes to finalize.

Once added, the Featured Topic will appear on your User Card and profile.
