How to insert Badges and Flag in Profile Signature on New Connect

Hello Fellow LGs,

Welcome once again to the new and improved Connect! where we can contribute with lot of ease and high productivity in terms of time, effort and smart work. Thanks, team, for making this happen.

With all welcome changes, there comes some challenges and learnings. And, New Connect is not an exception!

I am sharing my personal experience with all of you and how have I learned to eradicate these challenges. I had faced two challenges. The first one I have discussed here about ‘How to write CAPTION on New Connect’.

Now, the second one was related to the topic as, How to insert Badges and Flag in Profile Signature on New Connect?

With the launch of New and improved Connect, the existing badges and flag in the profile signature were either completely missing or scattered while in the ‘My Signature’ section under Profile here, the signature texts were intact.

So, if you are also facing the same issue, here is the solution for you which worked for me:

Steps:
Open the writing text box as you do to create a new post. Upload the flag using ‘upload’ tab in the text box. Select the entire code starting with ‘!’ till ‘)’. Copy this code and paste it in ‘My Signature’ here. The selected code is highlighted in ORANGE colour in Photo1.

Similarly, Upload the badge using ‘upload’ tab in the text box. Select the entire code starting with ‘!’ till ‘)’. Copy this code and paste it in ‘My Signature’ here. The selected code is highlighted in GREEN colour in Photo2.

Similarly, you can repeat the steps for as many badges as you wish to highlight in your signature.

Finally, your ‘My Signature’ section will look like Photo3 with the above uploaded Flag and Badge.

Click on ‘Save Changes’, you are done.

Please Note:

  1. You may wish to update ‘My Signature’ section with all the codes in one go after uploading the flag and badges. That’s perfectly doable.

  2. Size of the image can be adjusted in the same way as it used to be done in the previous version of Connect.

Please do share your experience in the comment box whether it worked for you or not.

Please also reach out in case you need further clarification.

Keep building a well-informed community stronger :muscle: together.

Stay Happy, Stay Healthy!

JAI HO!!!

You are most welcome @Rushikesh_joshi. You can apply these steps to make your signature organized.

Thank you very much for figuring this out, @Kumaarsantosh! It worked beautifully. In my experience, the ‘Preview’ did not show anything, but when I returned to view my old posts, the image was in the signature line. :+1:
