KOLKATA , THE CITY OF JOY HAS MANY UNUSUAL ATTRACTIONS THAT MANY ARE UNAWARE OF . ONE OF THEM IS THE FLOATING MARKET OF PATULI IN THE SOUTHERN FRINGES OF THE CITY. IT WAS INAUGURATED IN MID - 2017 BY FIRHAD HAKIM , INDIAN POLITICAL LEADER . IT WAS DONE OVER A " JHEEL " I.E. LAKE AND A LOCAL MARKET WAS REHABILATED TO IT FOR THE EXPANSION OF THE NEARBY BYPASS ROAD ( EASTERN METROPOLITAN BYPASS ) .NOW IT HAS BECOME A TOURIST ATTRACTION . YOU COULD AVAIL BUS FROM ANY PART OF KOLKATA TOWARDS PATULI BUS STAND . YOU COULD AVAIL METRO TO SHAHID KHUDIRAM METRO STATION AND WALK FOR FIVE MINUTES TO REACH THE DESIRED DESTINATION .
