Local guides in Pune are meeting at Vohuman - an iconic Cafe that has been serving customers delightful buns and Irani-style tea for half a century.
This meetup is in support of the #DilSeLocal, meaning #SupportLocal small businesses meetup series initiated by @AjitThite and part of the ‘Connect’s 10-Year Celebration’ meetup series by @NareshDarji
Agenda:
Meet and greet new local guides.
Support local businesses.
Check accessibility and LGBTQ features at the cafe.
Thank you @Ssiddharth2000
Irani Tea is the first preference in Pune for its charming setup and special taste that they have retained for over a century.
@TusharSuradkar bhai, I really appreciate the effort you put into organizing these meet-ups for the community - it’s inspiring to see your dedication!
I totally understand that mistakes can happen, like with the date mix-up in the recent post and banner. It’s great that you acknowledged it, and I’m sure everyone appreciates your transparency.
I just wanted to kindly flag this since it’s happened a couple of times now, and it might confuse folks or unintentionally bend the Community guidelines we all aim to follow. I’m confident that with your experience, you’ll ensure this doesn’t slip through again in the future.
Looking forward to more amazing meet-ups from you - thanks for all you do!
Thanks for following up on this topic, dear @KetanChhaniyara
and for your appreciation.
There have been reports of the wrong date or time displayed after a meetup approval, which was different from that mentioned during submitting the meetup for approval.
But since you are concerned about the mismatch in date in the meetup and that on the banner, I would request you to share this and the previous instances.
Such mistakes can be corrected simply by editing the meetup and resubmitting it for approval.
Was that done in the previous instances?
Please share the links to those meetup posts.
I also recognize that, as mentioned in the How to Organize a Successful Meet-up guide, submitting meetups at least 5 business days in advance is recommended to ensure proper review and approval.
Of course, we all know such things can happen - but thought a gentle reminder might help avoid confusion in future too
