Hey hey local guides , how are you ?
Today I have stories which remembering me to past time when I was children , yes elementary school era .
On saturday 02 nd november 2019 I went to take my niece to school .
I found some food vendors like cadger . So let’s started to taste
various food cilok, es serut ,es dawet
- Cilok
Cilok like meatball with use stick as handle ,very simple food ,use ketcup or sauce , children’s usually only with ketcup . Sauce for someone love spicy taste
cilok and ketcup and sambals
cilok with sauce
- Ice serut
my niece hand with ice serut
This is simple shaved ice compacted in molds in the form of dolls or funny characters and smothered in sweet syrup
- Ice dawet
pak Uti , my neigbour as seller ice dawet
steamed flour mixture, doused with liquid brown sugar, coconut milk and ice cubes
put dawet to bowl
put ice cube
Pour liquid brown sugar
pour white coconut milk
ready to serve .
Bonus story
while my niece studied in class, the food vendors (they are people I know well) cleaned up the rubbish around the school grounds. this was a form of their responsibility because trash was mostly from food vendors
clean up the trash
So I also felt that I had to be responsible for cleaning up the environment because what made my school yard dirty might be one of them my nephew. although I know I always teach my niece to throw trash in its place
small real action inspired by local guides clean the worlds .
Conclusion
making your own food for children is the best thing ,but there is no harm in tasting food from sellers assume we are helping neighbors to develop their business .
cleanliness is our shared responsibility, educating our children since childhood, one of them and still taking real action for example
