I'm going to reach out to Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google

A comment I’ve been making about a business for a year is being removed. After editing the comment, I post it back, but the business complains and the comment is removed.

My deleted comment about Pres metal is as follows:
“in 2014, I worked on a 400- and 800-ton hydraulic eccentric press with a low wage. I trained in the main building on the first day. There were bonuses of half a salary a year, pressure for overtime, subcontracting employees and all kinds of people in the working environment.

Working hours 08:00-16:00/16:00-24:00/24:00-08:00. There is no difference at night. There are 5 hours of overtime during the day, 4 hours in the evening. The food and service are enough. There is an occupational safety specialist, a permanent doctor and a nurse in the main building.”

Earlier, a moderator said that there was a conflict of interest related to my comments similar to this one, which were removed. The problem is that there are a lot of comments similar to my comments. These comments were made 1 and 4 years ago and are still published on the business page. There are comments written in them with much heavier language.

The comment of the user named [name redacted] is as follows:
“It’s a very bad company. they don’t treat people well. shift supervisors in production constantly curse at employees. his work is heavy. he has very little money. there is no value for a person. there are unnecessary layoffs happening. it’s not a company to work for. their employees are bad.”

The other user’s comment is as follows:
“Do not choose this place and destroy your future when there are better, more beautiful places. if you don’t want to be crushed and you don’t want your right to be defeated, draw a good way.”

The comment of the user named [name redacted] is as follows.
“We stayed for a certain period of time. there are 3 salary bonuses, but it is not a place where the environment is very good. there is a shortage of system and order.”

As you can see, those who made similar comments to me gave 1 star. Immediately after posting the review four days ago, they gave it 5 stars with a fake account. You turn a blind eye to fake accounts that do not contain comments and have only one comment.

The Google Maps link of my comment is as follows:

The business’s Google Maps link is as follows:

I lost fifty thousand views because of my comments that were removed in one day. I have not received any results from the support team I have contacted before. It’s nonsense to tell people in Europe whose comments have been removed that Google has removed your comment in the name of protecting you.

It is not difficult to reach people on forum sites around the world. I shared a comment on the site called Indeed on December 4th. The interpretation is as follows:

My local guide of 1.5 years. Hundreds of my comments have been removed. Most recently, more than 60 of my comments have been removed in bulk. the 600 thousand view count fell to 300 thousand. Even though I created a complaint log many times, my comments continued to be removed.

I have more likes than comments and 18 followers. Half of my followers are local guides. There is no swearing, no insults in my comments. I’m just writing what I see as right and wrong. I also constantly receive emails from Google that my comments are useful.

There are a lot of guides like me whose comments are constantly removed. There are people who have been guiding for many years and have been removed from guiding. I was also removed from the guidance because business owners constantly complained. After complaining, I was reinstated to the guidance. Although I have reached out to Moderator Morten Copenhagen about the removal of my comments, my comments continue to be removed.

The reason why the comments you make appear when you log in with Gmail and do not appear when you log out is that your comment has been removed. After that moment, your comment will not reach anyone. I do not recommend that you become a local guide. There is no return. Only your right is eaten.

I regret all the contributions I have made. In wrote down what I saw as right and wrong. I gave points without eating rights. What kind of rule violation can there be here?

I’m going to reach out to Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google. I suggest you review the work you are doing. I’m not going to get into some issues so as not to offend you openly. The only reason I’m writing here is because I can express my ideas clearly. If I were anywhere else, I wouldn’t be able to express my ideas so easily.

Hi @Murat,

Please note that I removed some of the screenshots in your topic because they contained personal information, such as names and an email address. We take privacy seriously and we discourage Local Guides from sharing theirs or someone else’s private information publicly.

I’m here because I thought I needed your help. This means, in human relations, to communicate more closely with the other person, to eliminate the distance and barrier Decoupled between them. By opening this topic, I am giving you a lot of details with my thoughts and what I have written. Morten Copenhagen, who wished me good luck when I said I would contact the CEO of Google, thinks I am wasting my time doing this, but I am sure you will want to do the right thing.

Hi @Murat,

Our responsible team has reinstated your review and it is now visible publicly. They also looked into the other reviews on the business’s listing and removed the ones that violate the Maps policies.

Thank you for your patience while we were checking this!

Thank you for making sure that my comments are published again. Some comments were not published because I deleted the content of my previously unpublished comments. I properly edited and posted my unedited comments one by one, but they were not reposted because they were considered spam. I filled out a new form on this topic and sent it to the Google support team. I would like to ask for your support once again.

The following comment was removed 12 hours after it was posted.

“in 2015, I applied for disability pension to this institution on behalf of a person from my family. During this process, I had Bandırma connected to a carer’s pension through Social Services. Although we had no other income, they cut off the disability pension under the name of income limit.

After the officer named Ayşe who works in this institution said that your caregiver’s pension would also be cut off, Bandırma made inappropriate remarks to me about my family while talking on the phone with the Social Services officer, even though she did not have the authority. Although I complained to the Presidential Communication Center, no action was taken against him. I personally witnessed the officer yelling at a senior citizen at the place where this institution was given free clothes.”

The comment made to the same institution a year ago is as follows: That’s the only place I’ve heard insults because I need help. In a single sentence. No comment.

@Murat

It has been decided that it is forbidden to comment on Google in Turkey. I was sorry about this because there were local guides who did their job properly. People were reading the comments and making decisions according to him. There were a lot of comments reflecting the truth.

I’m glad about this because there were a lot of spam comments that were given 5 stars with 1 comment. There were comments that included defaming the business that he never went to. There were local guides who provided comments in exchange for money.

The most crucial point was that the day after a person wrote about the bad service he received in his comment, that comment was removed. You are also aware of this as a moderator.

There are many platforms to comment on, such as Tripadvisor, Zomato and Yandex. There is probably an alternative to Google. I will back up my comments. I will continue to contribute to Google after I move permanently from Turkey.

According to the decision taken by the Ministry of Commerce, comments cannot be made and points cannot be given on Google and Google Maps for any facility offering services. According to the decision, users will now be able to comment on locations on Google Maps, such as tourist spots and parks that do not offer goods or services. Google has not yet taken effect the decision of the Ministry of Commerce. Google may completely remove the comments and rating feature in Turkey.

Since anyone can comment on any facility and location registered on Google Maps without receiving service from the facility, it was decided to stop Google comments by the decision of the Ministry of Commerce. In order to make comments and evaluations on any platform, there is now a condition for verification of the purchase of goods or services.

Google received an administrative fine for not providing a verification to the comments. At the meeting held by the Ministry of Commerce, it was decided to impose a total of TL 30.2 million administrative fine on 183 out of 205 files. Actually, I foresaw this situation and warned you many times. Unfortunately, you did not take any steps in this regard.

Hi @Murat,

I need to remind you to follow our Community guidelines and Local Guides program rules and keep the conversation relevant to Connect’s topics.

While our team is currently looking into your contributions, we strongly advise you to fill out the dedicated account investigation form moving forward. Our team is not able to share updates or provide individual support beyond passing your form submissions along to the relevant teams. Thank you.
