I am very happy to share this with you. On the occasion of 20 years of Google Maps and 10 years of the Local Guides community, ‘Bangladesh Local Guides’ is going to organize a special celebration meet-up! This meet-up will be organized with the participation of 35-40 invited active Local Guides. We sincerely regret that we are unable to invite all of you / Open for all to join this meet-up.
To organize this special meet-up, we have selected a conference room of the renowned government institution of Bangladesh ‘The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh’ as the venue. Basically, due to the protocol of this organization, we are unable to invite any more local guides beyond this specific number of local guides.
Here’s the basic plan for our meeting:
Introduction of ‘The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh’ with Bangladesh Local Guide members.
Discussion on the role of the community in integrating information about Bangladesh on Google Maps.
Highlighting the activities of Bangladesh Local Guide with the Bangladesh government and future plans.
Discussion of the problems of Google Maps in the context of Bangladesh.
