Cricket has united millions, and where better than the largest cricket stadium in the world, Narendra Modi Stadium, to shine the light on accessibility? 
As part of my new Accessible Stadium Series for 2025, I’m elated to be hosting the Accessible Narendra Modi Stadium Meet-up on February 12, 2025, at 17:00 (IST). The initiative builds from my continuing urge toward accessibility through various meet-ups, working to ensure that public spaces are more inclusive for everyone.
This’ll be all about assessing the accessibility features of the stadium, determining together how to improve accessibility, sharing experiences of visiting differently-abled people, and discussing further on inclusive infrastructure.
This is a landmark stadium with a capacity of over 132,000 spectators. But is it really accessible to all? Let’s go on a discovery together to raise awareness of the need for barrier-free sports venues.
