Hello Local Guides,
Especially those from Karachi!

As you all know, Google Maps successfully completed 20 years on February 8th, while the Local Guides program** has also reached an incredible **10-year milestone. So why not celebrate this achievement in a way that helps spread awareness about the proper use of Google Maps and the benefits of contributing to it?

To mark this occasion, I am organizing a meetup in Karachi at the well-known Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University in Lyari.
Date: Saturday, 15th February 2025
Time: 03:00 PM (Pakistan Time)

I understand that Saturdays are usually busy in Karachi, but if you can join me in sharing valuable insights with university students—knowledge we’ve gained through the amazing Local Guides Connect forum and our respected Local Guides community—it would mean a lot to me.

While celebrating 20 years of Google Maps and 10 years of the Local Guides program, we also have the opportunity to introduce new people to our mission. This will ultimately benefit Google Maps users worldwide, especially in our own country and communities.

This meetup is also part of @NareshDarji 's global campaign, “Celebrating 10 Years of Local Guides: Let’s Connect and Contribute!” Naresh has inspired Local Guides across the world to organize meetups and be part of these important celebrations. I, along with @JaneBurunina, am excited to contribute to this wonderful initiative.
